I was in the lift waiting to reach the ground floor. I had to pick up
veggies and fruits from the nearby market and then rush to pick up my baby from
school..(read 14 yr old as baby)! The lift halted midway..entered 2 fine old ladies..(read around 60 yr old as
old)! Those few seconds with them in the lift triggered off a thought
process..do I flaunt my age and my youth well enough...before I get OLD?
Beautifully manicured hands and feet with red paint, colored and straight
hair, glossy lips, a sexy handbag, ethnic jewellery.... and here I was in my
shorts and tee, sporting flipflops, a sling on my shoulder , a jute shopping
bag, a small pony-tail and nude-short nails. Would I look better if I did all
the things they did to themselves...maybe I would, when I am their age!
